Traveling With Techies

Sometimes I overheard, sometimes I paid a wee bit attention to what Nitin and Pulkit were talking about- and almost always I would hear stuff I did not know about. - Reading user manuals and setting up dashcams, conversations about hosting servers, watching stuff on google plex, iPv4, iPv6, some random car features. And mostly at the cost of proving myself unread and stupid, I would go ahead and ask..

Kehne ko to maine bhi Engineering hi ki hai, I too like machines, and I am also a software engineer.. But I am not like them in most ways. I don’t feel the urge to google something that is lengthy. If I find something interesting, I make a note to look it up when I get time.

And it’s good to travel with people who have diverse interests. People who are different. Especially the ones who don't mind explaining things they consider simple to you! without making you feel like an idiot. Even if they do think of you as one, they are quite good at not expressing that.. :D

Ishika scolding people whenever they uttered anything negative

Anytime, any of us uttered anything related to accidents or negative or dark, Ishika talwaar lekar uske peeche. It was just fun seeing her in this authoritative mode. She has always been a nurturing and caring person, but still seeing her like this, feels different. Good different. :)

Holiday Playlist

I had thought that we would probably play songs and dance one night. Like we do in house parties. But we didn’t get to that. Rather we got to listen to all kinds of songs while traveling. English, Hindi, old, 90s, new, Punjabi, Haryanavi, Sufi.. everything. We had a hell of a DJ with us. I wonder how one person can listen to all kinds of music with equal interest!

Afterthoughts - I now consider creating a playlist for myself too- And in my Sufi collection add -

And in my folk/indie playlist

  1. Desi desi naa

Just so that I don't forget these.. :p
