Some noteworthy mentions–

Our cab driver the first day – Shahid Ali, mast driver tha. Waise to saare hi drivers sahi gaadi chalaate hain, but when in mountains you feel no sudden brakes, no jerks. As smooth as the normal roads, that deserves a compliment.. :p

The person who told us the way to the market - That night, we saw him at least 3-4 times on the way. It was like he was either patrolling the area, else following us to making sure we didn’t get lost again :p

Rashmika – The woman on the train – a woman who looked like Rashmika Mandaana. Her name is Krittika. She sat in front of us in the train and we ran into her everywhere we met. From our journey from Delhi to Lansdowne, to every place we went to in Lansdowne, to our journey back to Delhi from Lansdowne. Some things are written.

Okay, now obviously my travel partners–

Khushbu

We have known each other since our school days. She is one good cool cute friend. She is one of those innocent and tactless people who are the same inside out. No filters even if they try.

I have met her family too. Knowing each other’s family makes friendships deeper. Knowing each other’s moms is especially something. When your friend’s mom confides in you and your mom in her, that certifies your friendship for the next level – family friends. Your family became friends through you. Rather than you becoming friends because of your family. :D

Our friendship is one like wine. It is getting better with time.

Prakhar

We went to the same school and same coaching and yet I didn't know him till some time back. I met him through our mutual friend Khushbu, whom you just read about.

She told me I had met him once before and he had dropped us home. Which I was able to faintly recall later. Thanks to my awesome memory! -:p

Since we all stayed close by, they both have been a blessing in these lockdown times.

I hate him for winning matches against me by pure chance. Badminton khela, usme he won by chance. Then one race, in which we were probably equal but I feel certain he wasn’t running at his full speed.

That was us before we went on this trip.

Now the record stands- TT – he won 2 games out of 3, again by chance, he didn’t even play well :/. Swimming mein to chalo he is better. Chess I don’t like at all, losing in that, I don’t mind. -:p

But thanks to his photography skills, now I am not envious at all. :D Not one bit :p

Trips make you comfortable with each other at a different level. You see people more closely. Games of cards, sharing space, sleeping over conversations on philosophical topics like happiness, ambitions. When all of you don't feel like going back and can’t stop thinking about more trips, looks like a sign of a good trip.
