Chikmagalur - A prayer that was unexpectedly answered!

Writer: Vidhi AggarwalVidhi Aggarwal

Last weekend - I and Ishika met casually.  Like so many other weekends. When we float business ideas, trip ideas. This one was a little more serious from my end. And somehow Ishika agreed. Somehow Nitin also agreed. We needed one more person to join in.. I did not want to be the “kabaab mein haddi” for a newlywed couple. Somehow, they managed to convince Pulkit (Nitin’s cousin) to join too..

The stars aligned and the four of us - on a Friday morning, on our way to Chikmagalur. Before that point, I was sure that this would happen. It had been 1.5 years since my last trip, And I badly needed one.

Closing thoughts?

When we are on a trip, we automatically put everything on hold.

I don’t remember checking my phone for stuff other than family calls, jotting notes in notes app so I don’t forget things I want to remember or googling stuff for bets or places to visit.

This trip reinforces my faith, ki har cheez tumhaare efforts se and Krishna ji ki help se hi hoti hai. I could not have seen this trip happening. He somehow makes things happen that you can’t fathom.

So, with gratitude and one more follow up prayer I'll close this.. Because prayers are something he knows. And I write about them when he blesses them.
